Gracelyn had her first dentist appointment last week. Judd wasn't able to take time away from work to join us on this momentous occasion, so he asked me to video tape it. My response: "Are you kidding me? I'm gonna need to hold her hand the whole time since she'll be so freaked out!" Well, Mommie was wrong! Gracelyn did awesome!!! She sat in the chair, wore the stylish shades, and opened wide to get her pearly whites all pearly and white! Per the dentist's recommendations, Gracelyn now has an electric Dora toothbrush for more effective cleaning of her little chompers. She loves having a toothbrush that's like Mommie and Daddie's toothbrushes!

So cute! She did so well! Parker freaked the first time even though it wasn't even a cleaning. He had hit his mouth hard on a table where a tooth was coming in and I just wanted to have it checked out since the gum seemed split open and it was all bloody and bruised looking. Turns out that's what a molar looks like when it's coming in! How was I supposed to know? The front ones didn't look like that! *laugh* The second time when he actually went for a cleaning we got through the top teeth with no complaints, but he decided enough was enough when they started on the bottom. Oh well!
