happy birthday wife

It's Amanda's birthday today and for the first time I can say that I am celebrating my wife's birthday. Wow. Also, this is the first birthday that she will hear, "Happy Birthday, Mommie!" Again, wow, especially since it will be delivered in a man's voice.

thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone! i've had a wonderful day so far...taught a few dance classes this morning, was treated to a spa manicure (courtesy of my husband and daughter) and lunch, and am looking forward to a delicious home-cooked meal at my parents' house tonight (homemade apple pie...yum!!)...and next weekend, we're having a night out on the town! yippee!!

scott, i don't think that twisters should count for the burrito stat tracker. i mean, they're from kfc, after all...not exactly a me-hi-can-o restaurant. judd and i were talking about it the other day...for a burrito to count, it should have all the amenities of the mexican tortilla delight - rice, beans (unless you don't like beans), meat and/or veggies (if you're vegetarian), salsa, etc., wrapped in a tortilla. we made some homemade burritos the other day, but we decided not to count them because they were missing some of the key ingredients...so, no twisters...sorry...

apparently you're not taking into account that it is quite delicious & food for the gods. i could eat those & baja fresh like errryday...twice a day. throw in some peter piper pizza just to keep it real.
