Many of you know that last weekend, we embarked on a few home improvement chores. Our water heater was bunk and our kitchen sink and faucet were crusty and jank. The water heater installation was a success. We now have the only tricked out water heater on the block. We upgraded to a 50 gallon tank, an extra expansion unit, a temperature read-out gauge, new pipes, etc. It is also fully insulated. As for the sink, that also was successfully installed with the faucet. But during the demolition, the crap counter top that we have was injured. A piece of the Formica peeled up and ripped off. All in all, it was progress, though we would have liked to have avoided the fractured counter top. Thanks to everyone who helped us, specifically George and Mark. Below are some before and after pics. (All pictures have been done up to best represent successes and hide any mistakes.)
